Accommodation

Our accomodation is the 10 bed chalet, Haus Luxus, in the town of Mayrhofen, Austria. The guest house is English run, a home from home. The lounge has a English Sky TV, DVD Player, Internet access and an XBox. Each bedroom has TV/Stereo/DVD Player and tea/coffee facilities. There is an undercover patio area at the front of the property, where you can enjoy a cold beer or glass of wine at the end of your day.

Package

Breakfast - Continental with cooked items to choose from, such as porridge oats, eggs, homemade sausages, bacon, grilled tomatoes or mushrooms.
Afternoon tea - Served with homemade cakes/cookies.
Dinner - The four course evening meal ends with fresh coffee & mints and a glass of schnapps.

Food

All the food served in the chalet is homemade and a lot of the ingerdients are sourced from the garden. Whether on the Half Board Plus package or Bed & Breakfast Basic, our service is kept at a high standard.
Our half board catered package consists of a cooked and continental breakfast (7 mornings) plus a 4 course evening meal (6 evenings), giving you one night to enjoy one of the local restaurants.

Equipment Hire

All equipment hire can be booked in advance.
Our preferred ski hire shop has all the latest skis and all perfectly maintained. With their helpful and knowledgeable staff, you'll be on your way to the perfect ski holiday.
To ensure you hire the perfect ride for your trip to Mayrhofen, our preferred snowboard hire shop is run by local snowboarders.

Ski-Lift Passes

The Zillertal offers one of the largest ski areas in Austria, with 13 resorts covered under 7 ski areas, and more than 630km of pistes & over 170 ski lifts. All of this is accessible with just one lift pass, making it one of the best value passes in western Europe.
The Hintertux Glacier offers guaranteed year round skiing & snowboarding.
The Penken ski area includes the resorts of Eggalm, Raskögel, Finkenberg, Horberg and the Penken. This area contains the Vans Snow Park and a wide choice of restaurants and mountain huts. Finkenberg and the Penken are also popular take off points for the paraglider pilots, why not take a flight down at the end of the day?
The Ahorn is a fairly small resort but offers an ideal area for beginners or for your first day. Once you have found you ski legs, tackle the Ahorn Abfahrt back to the village.

Instruction

The safest and most enjoyable way to learn to ski or snowboard is with a qualified instructor.
Mayrhofen has some of the best ski schools in Europe and the school that we are in partnership with is owned by the son of a famous mountaineer and explorer.
Even if you are already an experienced skier or boarder, a lesson or two will always improve your technique.
